Halwa (Sweet Cream of Wheat)

Halwa (Sweet Cream of Wheat)
Halwa is a confection made of flour, sugar, water, and nuts, and you can make it with or without oil/fat. It has Arab origins but it seems to have travelled both East and West through trade and conquest! For my family, halwa has a special place in our hearts as it brings back sweet memories and aromas of our native country, India.
