Only in New Orleans could you have a little wine and cheese shop with a glorious backyard from which to enjoy that wine and cheese, accompanied by live music and an array of Mediterranean shared plates. A true neighborhood gem in the Ninth Ward, Bacchanal is one of The Big Easy’s best-kept secrets, but it might not be so secret anymore. Pictured here is their risotto with springtime herbs, mushrooms, and parmesan, plus a heaping plate of cheese and homemade bread, which were accompanied by some delightful rosé wines.
