Bottega

Regarded as one of the best Italian restaurants in the Napa Valley area, Bottega was a must on a recent trip to wine country. They are known for their gnocchi, but it’s not like any other gnocchi you’ve ever had. Instead of the usual potato pasta, Bottega makes ‘Ricotta Gnocchi della Nonna”, which are ricotta “pillows” with old hen tomato sauce and pecorino romano. Their other menu stunner is the “Raviolo di Uovo”, potato pasta filled with farm hen egg yolk, ricotta, and Swiss chard with truffled brown butter and sage. Both dishes are melt-in-your-mouth perfection!
