Yet another gem from the Union Square Hospitality Group, Maialino serves traditional Roman dishes in the gorgeous setting of the Gramercy Park Hotel. We started with a deliciously creamy burrata with toasted filone and olio fresco, then we both had to have the dish they are known for, tonnarelli cacio e pepe with pecorino and black pepper, and to finish we had some affogato and sorbetti — the white peach, rhubarb, and strawberry lemonade flavors. A perfect end to a delicious lunch on a hot summer day!
