The proud new owner of a Michelin star, Nix is a vegetarian’s dream in the heart of the East Village near NYU. Pictured here is their spinach, kale, apple, and pineapple juice paired with their shiitake mushroom lettuce wraps with hoisin sauce and Thai chili. I also tried their three-grain bowl with brown rice, wild rice, spelt, Union Square Greenmarket vegetables, and avocado, and for dessert I had their absolutely amazing “nun’s puffs”, a traditional French dessert pastry. Yum!
