This is my son’s absolute favorite restaurant in New York City. Part of Major Food Group, Santina’s all-glass building with sunflower chandeliers sits right under the famous High Line. We always start our meals there with the chickpea pancakes served with avocado, tomato, and almond pesto, and this time I also tried the kale salad with sunchokes and seeds — super-delicious and healthy! And at Santina, you always have to leave room for dessert, especially the one with layers of dark chocolate, nuts, and cream.
