My kids have always shied away from okra, until I started making this baked okra recipe. These are just like French fries -- nice and crispy, and you can never have just one!
Wash okra and either air dry or dry it with a kitchen towel. Okra must be dry, otherwise it will be slimy when you cut it.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Place okra in the center of a large rimmed sheet pan and drizzle oil over top.
Add all seasonings and toss well to coat.
Spread okra out in a single layer.
Roast in the oven for 18-20 minutes, shaking pan once after 10 minutes to turn okra.
