A true gastronomic institution on the mountain, Chez Vrony has the best salads on the slopes. They actually call them “colorful bowls” instead of salads, and rightfully so because they always have fresh greens, vegetables and great homemade dressings. We also had a super-creative vegan beetroot-potato gnocchi served with local apricot chutney. It’s always tough to choose from their long list of delicious desserts, but we opted for a light honey parfait served with aloe vera elder soup — all local ingredients! Chez Vrony mixes a magical setting with magnificent food and, of course, great company.
