Baked Sweet Potato Chips
My family loves these baked sweet potato chips. They cannot believe that I can actually make them at home and that they are baked instead of fried. These chips are a great alternative to unhealthy popcorn on family movie nights!
Ingredients
- 2 organic sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F and position rack in center of oven.
- Rinse and dry sweet potatoes thoroughly and slice them as uniformly thin as possible using a mandolin.
- Toss slices in a touch of olive oil to lightly coat, then sprinkle with salt.
- Lay out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 1 hour, flipping once at the halfway point to ensure even cooking.
- Remove once crisp and golden brown.
- Cool completely and store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
