Banana Bread with Nuts & Figs

Banana Bread with Nuts & Figs

Watch out, this banana bread is like no other and won’t last long in your house! You will want to bake it again and again but you won’t feel guilty about it because it doesn’t have any oil and is low in sugar. The secret ingredient in this bread is unsweetened applesauce, which makes it super-moist and sweet. I also like to add figs, a natural sugar, to further sweeten the bread, and walnuts for the crunch factor.
