Tequila Fruit Salad

Some of my favorite desserts have a little bit of alcohol in them. This Tequila Fruit Salad is the perfect dessert for summer when the fruit is naturally sweet and you want something chilled and light after a delicious meal. 
Servings: 6
Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups strawberries, (halved, hulled)
  • 2 cups mango, (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 1 tablespoon triple sec
  • 1 tablespoon mint, (chopped)

Instructions 

  • In large bowl, combine strawberries, mango, sugar, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and mint.
  • Toss gently to combine.   
  • Cover bowl with wrap or plate and let chill at least for 20 minutes in refrigerator so fruits can marinate and flavors can meld. 
  • Serve chilled.
