What Makes a Biscuit Vegan?

Did you know that about 3% of Americans follow a vegan diet? The choice to go vegan can vary due to diet restrictions, diseases, or even by choice. Following a vegan diet is simple, it is avoiding foods that come from any type of animal. This includes foods like eggs, milk, cheese, and even honey, and in turn consuming foods like legumes, fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, nuts, etc. So, making these vegan almond flour biscuits would eliminate the traditional milk, eggs, and butter that most buttermilk biscuits are prepared with. These vegan almond flour biscuits are made with fresh ingredients like rosemary and olives and promise to have all the moisture and flavor of any other buttermilk biscuit you have ever had.

What Is a Grain-Free Biscuit?

Over the past few years, people have begun to eliminate this food group from their diet; the main reason being that it shows improvement in digestion and reduces inflammation in the body. This vegan grain-free biscuit recipe is made with almond flour which replaces the very popular and traditional ingredient, flour from this recipe.
