These sweet baked apple cinnamon chips are so delicious that everyone I serve them to always wants more. Luckily for me -- and for them -- these yummy snacks are super easy to make (only 2 ingredients!) and healthy.
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 3 hours
Total Time: 3 hours 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 apples, (large Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Place the racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven and preheat to 200 degrees F.
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Wash the apples then core them with an apple corer.
  • Using a mandolin, slice the apples horizontally into ⅛-inch-thick rounds.
  • Arrange apple rounds in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets, then sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake the apples on the lower rack for 1 hour.
  • Switch the apple slices to the upper rack and continue baking until the chips are crisp (about 1-1.5 additional hours).
  • Turn off the oven and let the chips sit for an additional hour to cool down and crisp further.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week until ready to serve.

Bon appétit!
